This year marks a very special event in our lives. We are celebrating 10 years of extraordinary friendship. Over these many years, our lives have taken every imaginable twist and turn. We have shared the ups and downs life has offered, the good, the bad, the joys and the sorrows, and through it all, we have had the good fortune to make the journey together.

In commemoration of this incredible milestone, and in support of all the women that have touched our lives, we have committed to do something very important! – On October 18, 19 and 20 we are participating in the AVON BREAST CANCER 3-DAY. We will walk 60 miles from Santa Barbara to Malibu to raise money and awareness for a cause that is critical to all men and women – BREAST CANCER RESEARCH.

Over 182,000 women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year, and over 40,000 will die. A new case of breast cancer will be diagnosed every three minutes and every 13 minutes the disease will claim another life. One million women in America are living with undetected breast cancer. It is time to step up the effort to find a cure, to educate all women all about this disease and to help those who cannot afford it to have access to the screening and treatments early enough to ensure their survival.

The money raised from this walk will help further these efforts. We will walk in support of those now fighting this dreadful disease and also in remembrance of those who fought courageously.

We have already begun our training, but we need your support! Our fundraising goal is $4,000. Donations of any size are welcome and can be made by check, credit card, or, of course, cash (CHANGE) is gladly accepted. Your contributions are tax-deductible, too!

We invite you to visit our web page often so you can watch our progress and share our experience as we train, raise money and raise awareness.

Please join with us in helping others. Together we can work to ensure that the women that have touched our lives and the lives all future generations will not need to worry about BREAST CANCER.
